I have to admit the most colon cleansing recipes and procedures are not known for their good taste. Some cleanses do taste pretty awful but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Taste doesn’t have to be ignored completely. The truth is, even the not-so-tasty colon cleansers are more bland than nasty. Many might actually be considered good tasting.
Colon Cleansing Foods
Many colon cleansing recipes are based on a foundation of natural whole foods. The fiber content is an important factor. The use of organic foods is preferable. both soluble and insoluble fiber are important and typically included in most cleanses.
Psyllium husks and ground flax seeds are used frequently, but so are a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and grains. oats are well known for their high level of soluble fiber.
Spices As Colon Cleansers
Spices are another important component of cleanse recipes. Because many herbs have culinary as well as medicinal uses they can make a cleanse taste pretty good.
Ginger, garlic and cayenne pepper are frequent ingredients in many cleanses.

One good way to get a tasty cleansing detoxification is to develop a taste for Indian food, especially curries.
